How we make it
Built to be repaired, not replaced
Good leather rewards patience. Here is what goes into every bag and wallet before it earns the Voss stamp on the inside seam.
Saddle-stitched by hand
Every seam is sewn by hand with two needles and waxed linen thread, the way a saddle is. If a stitch ever fails, the rest hold — a hand-stitched seam can't unravel the way a machine lockstitch does.
Carefully shipped
Each piece is wrapped in cotton flannel and a dust bag, boxed by hand, and shipped tracked. Orders placed before 2pm ship the same business day, and delivery is free over ₩150,000.
Lifetime repairs
Edges re-burnished, hardware replaced, stitching redone — we repair anything we've made for as long as you own it. Leather this good deserves to be mended, not thrown away.
Made to order
One hide, one pair of hands
Each bag is cut and stitched by a single maker, start to finish. We choose the panels from one hide so the grain runs true across the piece, skive the edges by hand, and burnish them with beeswax until they gleam. A holdall takes the better part of two days.
Add your initials in blind or gold foil, and we'll press them before the piece is sewn shut. A bag made this slowly is one you'll still be carrying — softer, darker, better — in twenty years.

Yes — that's the point of vegetable-tanned leather. It starts a light honey tone and, with daily handling and sunlight, deepens over months into a rich amber or chestnut. No two pieces patina exactly alike.
